Not sure if I'm happy or sad for the coachman. He was the first to fly. That sounds cool. Hopefully he used the story to impress the ladies. But he didn't really want to and he got no credit. Tough call.
Yes, I don't like that neither. Wealthy often used their servants for their experiments and without giving credit. According to some accounts, Sir George Cayley also used help of little boy when he tested the flight of his small scale model, so actually that little boy might have been the first!
