TIL: The Australian Blushwood Tree Might Contain The Next Cancer Cure
A future perspective on curing cancer is possibly provided by good old mother nature. The Blushwood tree and more precise its berries which grow in Queensland, Australia seem to have opened doors to new ways of treating tumours. The active compound is the extract EBC-46 and is currently undergoing pre-clinical study.
Although the news is not that fresh, it actually amazes me that even today this kind of discoveries are being made,showing that it's evident (to me at least) that there is so much we can still learn from science, research and biology.
