With today's technologies, Jezus is not the only one who can turn water into wine. Since 2015 Ava Winery is on a mission to beat Jezus as the single man, known to history to perform this miracle. Ava Winery is cloning wine synthetically, and 90% of their recent test panels couldn't tell the difference from real wine.

Synthetically made wine must be a pain in the ass for the educated wine connoisseurs. But just imagine that soon it is possible to have a 10K wine experience for a fraction of the price. Would you give it a try? I know I would! If you look at it from an efficient/production point of view, it makes a lot of sense to tap into this market. If you take away the idea of authentic wine production, all that is left is the smell, the taste and the aftertaste of a liquid served in a beautiful glass. If technology is capable to duplicate that experience, why not?
The only question that remains is whether Ava Winery will be allowed to actually label their synthetic product as "Wine".
