Britains X-Files & The Rendlesham Forest incident
The Rendlesham Forest Incident, in 1980, dubbed Britain's Roswell.
Has always fascinated the Conspiracy Theorists.
Was It?
Did they?
A Cover up?
It's now 37 years later and with all things involving UFO's, we are no wiser.
The story that it was a lighthouse that caused the Rendlesham Forest illusion of a UFO.
Did seem to be pushing the boat out. Just a tad.
I've watched and thoroughly enjoyed the Stargate series.
And it does seem a great way of traveling the vast distances across the Universe.
It makes sense.
Watching today's F1 broadcast from Baku and I can hear them using the Stargate terminology of,
"The Drivers Dialing in," to get a good performance from their car.
They also use Spaceships in Stargate.
So it is possible we are getting visited by beings as well as them zipping through Wormholes.
The word on the Science street back in the day was:

So it was not something just pulled out of a Hack Science Fiction writers hat.
My belief is, if we do run into Aliens in our own Solar System.
They will also have their own agenda.
So, we will be no more than Ants moving around under their feet.
As one bright spark pointed out.
We don't hate Ants.
We will even go out of our way to not do them harm.
But, and there is always a but, if they get in the way of our Picnic or house extension.
We will exterminate them in a heartbeat.
And suffer no remorse.
They were just Ants.
So for all my enthusiasm over making first contact.
It is also filled with a great primeval fear of the unknown.
It's like looking into the eyes of a great Tiger.
I'm looking at a great beast.
A fantastic specimen of years of evolution.
Fully toned muscle and bone.
Covered in a fantastic coat of many colors.
He's looking at me.
And thinking, "Lunch?"
Who knows how it will play out.
Are they already here, as Robert Bigelow maintains.
It would be so sad if we were just handed our great inventions on a plate.
Humans as a Species needs to work at exploring and inventing.
So it maybe is one reason they stay out of the spotlight.
Then again who the fuck knows.
Would we get a Midnight Tweet from, "The Donald,"
after he was shown around Area 51.
But then again, I don't think they trust him with normal intelligence information.
So maybe not.
No help from "The Donald," then.
But as has been said many times on the X-Files show.
"The Truth is out there, Dude."

**Britain's secret 'X-Files' dossier, containing details of 50 YEARS of UFO sightings across the country, has finally been released
A dossier of files kept secret by the UK government for almost 50 years has finally been released for the first time.**
The cache of 15 files, which have been published by the National Archives, contain details of UFO sightings seen all over the country.
They contain information about a number of high profile incidents that are believed to be related to extra-terrestrials, including in Rendlesham Forest in 1980, dubbed 'Britain's Roswell.'
Mysteriously, the files have not yet been digitised so enthusiasts must go to London's National Archives in Kew if they want to have access to them.
The papers were originally meant to be released in 2013 alongside thousands of others which did see the light of day, but 18 specific documents were withheld.
The files are believed to date from 1971-76, 1996-2000 and 2004.
The release marks the final stages of what's been a nine-year long project to declassify and release the MoD's entire archive of UFO files.
Three of these documents have still not been released.
This prompted claims of a conspiracy to cover-up the existence of alien life among some theorists and another delay in publication last year added to this speculation.
'I think these files perfectly capture the wonder and fascination of the UFO mystery and show how MoD officials - myself included - struggled to make sense of one of the great mysteries of the modern era', said Nick Pope, who was part of the Ministry of Defence's UFO project from 1991 to 1994.
'Sadly, there's no 'smoking gun' in these files that will prove we've been visited by extraterrestrials, but there are plenty of intriguing UFO reports, as well as policy papers explaining how the MoD handled this subject.'

It would be great for humans and extra-terrestrials to be able to communicate 'person to person' but we know how it will go. If they haven't already been in contact with our Governments then politicians and multinationals will want to use them for their (mainly war-related) technology and we Earthlings would be seen as nothing more than possible aggressors and kept away from their Worlds.
I think it's likely they have visited us, but I wonder how much their linguists understand our languages. That would be interesting to find out ;-)
