RE: nuff said tbh, thundercats hooooooo, thunderclap goes live and touches on 3/4 of a million peoples twitter reach! #WINNING
I can't believe we almost reached 3/4th of a million people with this campaign! I wonder if we will see this reflected in the amount of daily sign ups.
well, that was an area that i think could have been better because i'm not sure where the link went too, the best way to track impact is to use smarturl.it or bit.ly or something similar to track the first click to the destination at least that way you can do some metrics, maybe thunderclap has stat tracking in their analytics, either way, it was a wicked effort! :)
That's a very good point. Hopefully @fitzgibbon can provide us with some stats, since he is the one who made the Thunderclap campaign. At least the number of new accounts is freely available to us, so we will know if it has an impact in terms of sign-ups at least.
I'm writing a post about it now, gimme some minutes please
That's great! Looking forward to reading about it :) I didn't mean to nag on you to finish it, I'm just curious how well it went.
it's done
yeah exactly, yeah i know i've been support @fitzgibbon efforts from the start and over on twitter, i mentioned it to him. either way, it's great to have these little spurts of followers, anything to keep the retention levels up as well! :)
That is true. I also love it when the community is able to get together to work towards a goal together. I saw lots of resteems and posts about this project, and it seemed like lots of people wanted to participate in sharing and talking about it.
when something is RIGHT it's obvious to make a decision like that. mainly because if you have like 3/4 of a million people you gotta take say 10% that are actually gonna be engaged by the tweet, then slice another amount off to make the click, another slice of people that will dig deeper, then another percent of people to actually sign up and blog, then another slice for retention. 3/4 of a million ain't to be sniff at and it was awesome to see people just be like 'yep, that makes sense' i'm in! :)
you bet brother! :)
