Aerial photography / Flying, beside a huge storm cell, that nearly destroyed my drone
Quick story
That day, I heard about a storm approaching the island. Quickly, I packed my drone, cameras and other staff and I was on my way to the beach. Found a nice spot and after a few minutes, I was ready to fly. After a few minutes the drone was on 100m high and I saw the storm quickly approaching the island.
I got warning "large wind velocity".
The drone was 400m away from me (into the storm) and I felt the wind on my face 😨
But what then the horror.RAIN. A big fat raindrop, just fell on my face....
"Closer and closer"
