While I am commenting here the current live price of BTC is ($8,278.07), now lets considering average of $8000/BTC and doing some little math here, gives us a figure of $16 million USD (Hmm !! Its ok, for 24 hours trading volume).

This advocates and supports the figure as mentioned by @clixmoney. Good observation dear @clixmoney. Now that going into purchase of Steem (2000 BTC) is very impressive move, this happens 24 hours on bitcoin blockchain, and once in a while (lucky times like this) . I hope they keep doing it again and again over time.

Now my point here is that, though the $16 million (2000 BTC) volume sounds great but little spike in BTC will trigger the sellers and the BTC advancement is halted and so any intention of further BTC investment into Steem. To keep up with the advancement and regular investment into Steem, the halving of BTC next year will be great milestone and BTC will finally will take off with no intention of returning back to current base price of $8,278.07/BTC. This applies to Steem as well, current prices are the last time we are seeing. After 12-25 months, these floored, Steem prices will be history and they will be replaced with Steem golden era of $7+/Steem.
