RE: Conspiracy Aside, Aren't Joe and Hunter Biden Corrupt?

in #threespeak5 years ago (edited)

You are missing what the "acute" issue is here, sonny boy. It's not even actually that Hunter Biden just "happened" to get a connected job by way of his father being vice president. Like you said it's systemic cronyism. The "acute" issue here is that the UK leveled money laundering issues with Burisma and asked for documents. When they failed to obtain those documents after the investigation was put on hold because Joe Bidens son got hired on the board the UK froze the assets the company had in the UK. Instead of giving up the documents or the Ukrainian government reopening the investigation, the company sue in the UK for release of the funds frozen and won based on the fact the UK couldn't support their position as they didn't have any documents to further their case. That angered the UK who put pressure on the Ukrainian government and ambassadors/officials in the US to put the needed pressure on them. That's when the case got reopened and that's when Joe Biden went there and intervened to get the prosecutor fired after he learned from an article in the New York Times that his son was going to be brought in for questioning concerning money laundering issues with Burisma. Now no one at that time was bringing worth any charges or allegations of wrong doing on Hunter Bidens part and considering the UK asked for the documents prior to Hunter being hired it would seem that if the corruption or money laundering was still going on then Hunter would have something to be worried about, if not then he could have just stepped forward and cleared up the mess for the UK. Since that didn't happen and instead his dad intervened then it's questionable as to if Hunter became involved in laundering money also...which coincidentally, or ironically, there is actually a paper trail showing money channeled from Ukraine to Latvia to Cyprus and into the United States where it lands into the account of Rosemont, a equity firm whom Hunter Biden is a partner in. That is the "acute" question here as in most cases of cronyism money laundering isn't a requisite it's an illegality that the majority wouldn't entertain the thought as a condition of employment nor any reasonable person would seek to be hired in a company under investigation to begin with, especially those with a reputation to uphold.
