What do you do when you want to make videos for Steem with 3Speak/ThreeSpeak?

Continue reading to learn a few tricks that will allow you to upload your iPhone videos to 3Speak like a normal person.

1️⃣ First make the video and export the video to your iPhone gallery like normal. Can you edit the file name or type?

Ha ha! Nope! You can't.

2️⃣ Next, upload the video to Dropbox and move the file to your computer's hard drive.

Yes, I said," computer." You suddenly need a Mac computer to upload your iPhone7 video to 3Speak. Please continue reading to learn more details.

Can we change the file name in dropbox?

Yes! 😃

I'm not sure if it completely works. 🤨

Wu... I received an error message after I first confirmed that I wanted to change the file's extension, but the file seems to be just file after I refresh the dropbox browser.

One would need to change the name in drop box and then export the file with the new .mp4 extension into the iPhone gallery before uploading to 3Speak via iPhone's Safari. All untested, but rest assured, the mobile application of this discover will put to the test. I want to eliminate the computer process and barge bout be more capable while only using an iPhone and 3Speak to create Tetrahedroseph's music videos.

This could theoretically be the end of my post, BUT I have not yet proven the final step in this mobile application. I shall continue as if the final step of uploading a .mp4 file via Safari's web (iPhone) browser is NOT possible.

3️⃣ After the video is located on your computer's hard drive,

use the alt-click button to reveal a menu containing the duplicate function as seen in the image below.

4️⃣ After the duplicate file appears, select it and press enter button to change the new duplicate file's name.

You will notice it's ready for a name change because the current name will be highlighted by a light blue color. If you accidentally delete it all, stop. Don't do anything else except press your keyboard's "esc" button to cancel the name change before it's too late.

5️⃣ Rename the file if you want, but before you finish renaming it, change the ".mov" file type at the end of the file's name into, ".mp4"

6️⃣ The systems Finder will ask you to confirm the file type change.

Confirm the change by selecting the button marked "Use .mp4"

Nice! Now, proceed to the 3Speak website and get ready to upload the video. Do you have a thumbnail image? I'll make one for you if you pay me with Steem.

7️⃣ Upload the .mp4 file version of your video and earn enough upvotes to magically get a Lambo

and quit your day job!
