Pennsif - The Early Years - the Snowman and the Bicycle
There used to be a lot more snow when I was young in the 1960's.
This was me, aged about 7, and my sisters building a snowman in our back garden.
We still had coal fires then, the gas central heating hadn't arrived yet, so we used coal for the face and the coat buttons.... and toilet paper for a scarf to keep the snowman warm.
Check out that classic imitation sheepskin coat I was wearing. I wish I still had a balaclava to keep me warm in winter...
It was the year my middle sister got a new bicycle for Christmas - a Raleigh if I recall.
She and my elder sister mastered it, my mum not so much.
I got a toy gun instead - tut, tut, tut, tut - got you!
And then a first look at the cow field from the upstairs front bedroom.
That field became my patch, my territory, my gangsta paradise.
There are so many tales to tell of what went on in the cow field.

Me: "Daddy, Frosty is missing an arm & a chunk of his head."
Dad: "Oh my, what a mean old sun."
Me: "Huh?"
Dad: "We are talking about Frosty the Snowman, aren't we?"
Me: "No, Frosty Manuel, my friend from school. He fell off the sled & hit a tree."
Dad: "Tony, call 911!"
Makes me reminisce my childhood days 😉

I don't even know how you look now lol hahaha well it'll be amazing if you can show me, I can't tell where you saw this riding bicycle video but wow the environment shoes it's must've been really old. The snow ball lol brings back memories.
It is a film of myself and my sisters taken by my father in the 1960s.
