Hello Steemians!, for those content creators, internet users and credit users for calls and messages in Ghana and other west African Countries who use #MTN, sVodafon, #Airtel/Tigo and #Glo, there has been a percentage charges on any amount of credit or data you buy, which is automatically deducted as soon as you buy your credit or data for use. We know that as a customer buys from the #Network Providers or Vendors, there is no need to charge again since the customer has bought with money. But this not in the case of current policies by these Network Providers.

All because the Government has levied them with huge taxes, which they consider to be shared with their customer. However, the Government negotiations with them is not to charge a direct credit deductions from their customers, because everything is fused into their taxes. Yet, they have not responded to this agreement with the Government. The sadness of the issue is that, the customer is always at the expense of suffering, since most customers buy from indirect source, that is from the Network vendors who have also bought from these Network Providers. So, there have been a double deductions receive from both Network Providers and Vendors.

This as a result, has generated a whole lot of issues and difficulties to the network users and content creators, since a lot of money should be used to buy data for the creation of contents, especially for we video creators in steemit block chain, such as @threespeak and @dtube. Anything concerning credit usage is affected, and many concerned citizens of Ghana have raised this over charge on their Network. You can also share your thoughts of how you think about this issue, thank you!

The rate at which the network providers are really smashing rates expecially the MTN and 9Mobile is seriously alarming and because one can even upload a video, the charge rate per naira in Nigerian currency is so expensive I don't know about other African countries though

That is true Brother @josediccus, and this is really draining our money a lot! Thanks for seeing this too.

@oppongk, Definitely Internet Charges are big issue in many countries without any doubt and this affects all their Work and Progress. It's unfortunate for sure. Stay blessed.
