People are Racing to Accumulate 32 ETH - Here are the Figures

Alex Svanevik recently shared a tweet showing the growing number of Ethereum addresses holding 32 or more ETH.

In this video, we take a look at these figures and I share my personal opinion about why I believe this is very bullish for the price of ETH over the long term.

I believe ETH2 is a game changer. If the POS system and sharding goes right, I can't imagine Bitcoin staying at #1. It simply would make no sense for it to be first place when ETH will have solved its scaling issues, appeased all the climate change fanatics demanding POW to burn in hell, and offering a level of decentralization POW could never do.

ETH2 will give the politicians hating on the energy consumption nothing to complain about and sharding will provide a seamless experience for users that Lightning/Raden and Plasma do not. I honestly think that BTC chose the wrong path for scaling and as a community decided to shutdown layer 1 development too soon, and once ETH2 comes out and outperforms, I suspect they will realize this.

I do hold ethereum although I’m not anywhere near 32 but I do intend buying more.
If you wanted to Steak your ethereum would you need to remove them from your ledger onto a Exchange? Cheers mike

What is Ethereum?

  • Initial wealth (70% is premint) is in a few hands: 53% is owned by 400 wallets.
  • Mining is monopolized: 2 pools control 51% of the hashrate.
  • Returns are miniscule: $0.3 daily earnings in PoS with 32 ETH min stake.

Proof-of-Stake will always make the rich richer. There are other, more decentralized and fair blockchains to come.

Finally somebody who has some critical thinking.

I think that many people rather stake ETH on defi projects that are paying like crypto.com around 4% 😀

I continue to accumulate to get there as I think the opportunity will be great to help the network grow into it's full potential!

Ethereum is for sure powerful. I read somewhere that ethereum can be in the top. Still don't think that will happen, but with crypto anything is possible. 32 ether is $5600, for some investors is not a lot of money. I wander why they are not buying bitcoin, but ether. Do you think that ether will bring more return than bitcoin ?

Ethereum will eventually start capturing more value than Bitcoin.
Smart-Contracts are too valuable.
The ecosystem is massive, diverse, and scalable.
Might take a while though.

I expect more volatility.
Bigger spikes up, bigger crashes down, with overall higher gains.

I think it's entirely possible that Ethereum will provide a better ROI this market cycle. But it's also a more risky bet with the supposed transition to POS. Interested to see what the future holds either way!

Rich people are buying and poor people are buying?
Wow.
Super bullish.

Ethreuem has a really blistering future and the reason I say this is because it's front is really massive, these wallets and addresses shows people's believability on ethreuem as having the chance of being viable in the future and for a long period of time as well. Let's see how this influences the bull.

i keep spending my eth on games. :)
