Like you said in your video, let's abbreviate it to stupidity. Many people hardly follow politics, follow the things happening in government and all they know is that Trump us their hero. The world is definitely laughing that I can tell
I would hardly call people stupid for waking up to the fact that they have been being sold out for the quest of cheap labor and greed. I remember back in the eighties when fellow employees would boo hoo me for saying one day if they didn't fight for their jobs their jobs wouldn't be there anymore. Not a single one of of them understood the implications of globalism. The fact is not a single one of those jobs are left. Not a single one. So either you stay on the track of those peddling influence for riches over your own well being or you start a movement, you vote someone non traditional into the cycle, it's not the perfect start but it's a start.
