It's definitely kinda ironical that his staffers are predicting his resignation. I think he'll not resign and since it's no a parliamentary system of government, a vote of no confidence will not be passed on him. Although he'll be under immense pressure and these people have their stances on why he might resign but like you also pointed out he won't resign and if you ask me, he's a tough nut to crack
