You've definitely stated a harsh reality that's currently going on in the United States, the Congress and the two party system in the US won't really allow the process of democracy to function well. No matter how bad his governance may be bad for businesses Republicans will never vote for Democrats and that's a one reason why he might win again as well. Two party system here favours him and he's got a real shot at second term.
