Hard indeed. Very often what we may self-perceive as intereting is seen differently by people around us. I used to think that I was funny, but people perceived my humor as cruelty. And had not yet come to this politically-correct era.
I'd say I can perceive things aesthetically and that allows me to see beauty and reflection in the most unlikely places,people and things. Despite my pessimistic views about life and people (resulting from observation and extrapolation), I remain a dreamer inside and still see the possibility of a harmonious world
