Earthship Biotecture has to be one of the least understood sustainable building and living models around. This is not least because they offer SO many benefits that it is hard to even know them all, let alone explain them all!
The systems of an earthship encounter the forces of nature, mainly the sun, rain, and wind, and funnels them into your home to provide everything you need to live comfortably with annual utility bills of around $200 or less.
When you are truly self-sufficient and out of debt you take away some of the main sources of stress: buying food, paying the bills, covering the mortgage or rent, and needing to work full-time to allow this to continue. We can also look at environmental issues and great need to build smarter and in a more connected way, especially in the face of climate change.

With earthships, one can even grow food, which is grown with self collected rain water that is used and recycled in gray water. Heating comes from passive solar heat. Electrical power from solar panels.

@eco-alex It is an extremely interesting project because it allows people of scarce resources (like us) to provide our own food through the cultivation of fruits and vegetables, but also with the care of the animals, in addition we take advantage of the resources optimizing to 100% their potential and without wastes and reusing the remainders, possible, we pollute as little as possible the planet, and the best thing is that we do not need an engineer who tells us how to do things, having the materials that we need, the plans, a lot of faith and good intention, will be enough.

The advantage of using earthship is that it uses environmentally friendly recycled materials. This house is inside the earth and uses solar energy as its energy.
