If no one is looking into Mike Pence, I think it's because Trump is being the bigger player more targeted, but like you said these guys are overly shady abct they themselves only knows the crimes they've commited against the state and sure I think they've both find a way not to pull themselves down even if Trump suggested otherwise during that conference for the UN.

I think he wants to make it harder for a senate conviction by tying them together to prevent a pelosi presidency, and its a good strategy.
