Sahar Tabar, Whose Extreme Look Resembles Angelina Jolie, Arrested by Iranian Authorities 👮
Tehran-based Sahar Tabar became a star through Instagram after her extreme efforts to look like Jolie. The BBC reported that Tabar was arrested by Iranian authorities following complaints about her. She is being held on charges of blasphemy, instigating violence, illegally acquiring property, insulting the country’s dress code and encouraging young people to commit corruption, the UK news organisation has said. The BBC has reported that Iran has cracked down on online influencers and bloggers, arresting several.

Really. I'm still wondering why she's arrested. Corruption charges etc? To me, that doesn't carry any water. Unless they have huge evidences for that.
Though the picture looks really scary😱. But I like the message she's trying to pass. Be natural, shun plastic surgery. We find it hard to recognize Iranian women these days. Fake pointed nose😂...
I'm kinda surprised that you said some influential people are getting their accounts on Instagram deleted/blocked by the authorities after asking for their usernames and passwords. That's really really bad.

I still remember this person, she spent a whole lot of money years ago in other to look like Angelina Jolie and that's all I think she's now popular being called a queer dopplegangger of Jolie, in my opinion unless she's a secret Russian spy agent I don't think she's guilty of anything. What has such a person want with violence she only wants to be popular

Personally, I don't have a problem with her look. We're in the 21st century and anyone can do and act how they want. We've seen people pay so much to look like Michael Jackson, zombies e.t.c
Now One could either get rewarded or punished for their actions. And this is exactly where I might have a problem with her. Iran is a country of "No shit talks" against the government unlike other countries. Even in sane countries, people still don't openly go against the government or ways of life. She disregarded this which is pretty brave but without any solid backup which doesn't make sense. Iran isn't a place where you'd go against the government and hoping to get away with it, they'd come after you for the slightest thing.

The crackdown on influencer's in Iran isn't always due to the social media celebrities like this doing anything wrong or illegal, and the in this video, the speakers suspect that the charges are fabricated.
Having said that, they haven't researched Sahar enough to know for sure but the Iranian Government has been known to delete influencer's social media accounts just for the sake of consolidating power of their their citizens.
