RE: Intellectual Property Theft is Huge in Kenya! Answering 3 Ques & My Take on the Topic from a Recent Incidence| Part 1

Thanks for the heads up. That's good to know.
Every person has a responsibility to fight back against IP theft.
People should use their own creativity to come up with their own brands and ideas to not be copying someone. That is cheap and disgusting behavior and should never be supported by anyone. It's one thing to buy some coy something when you are too poor to afford the real brands, but it's very different to steal someone's who isn't a big corporation and take their creative works or designs . The community needs to support the rightful creators. Good job speaking up about it!

Thank you for watching. I think the biggest problem is that we don't have strict laws pertaining to this and a lot of ppl don't have the time or resources to sue and follow up with a court process.

I think all the platforms are against this kind of theft. They will take action. At least those from the G30 will. Your local ones may not. You can make a petition to government in Kenya to do the same and protect the people from this kind of crime. Pushing this would be good for your exposure and also help you make connections and do something good. Sponsor the petition, it's free. Find the orgs and departments that work on this in Kenya. Telecommunications department, Justice department, commercial crimes, Economic department etc. Change.org has an online petition system also though not sure it works for other countries than the usa.
