My one golden nugget:
Specious argument #4: Cryptocurrencies have no intrinsic value in terms of how they are used.
Fact: For first-generation cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin, perhaps.
But have the authors of the BIS report been living on Mars? This issue was addressed many moons ago with the introduction of Ethereum. (See my recent post on cryptocommodities.)
For now, suffice to say that many of today’s cryptocurrencies are the fuel of decentralized ecosystems. They’re like the crude oil of the future. They have very clearly defined intrinsic value
Specious argument #7: The value of cryptocurrencies is unstable. The implication is that fiat money is stable because central banks manipulate their price.
Fact: The primary reason fiat currencies like the euro or the U.S. dollar are stable is the massive liquidity of the foreign exchange markets with over $5 trillion traded daily. (Heck, if anyone should know this, it’s the folks at the BIS themselves. They’re the ones who compile the global stats.)

My one golden nugget:
Death is nature's way of retiring old ways of doing stuff. We don't look o much at what happens at birth. The form (human) is unique.
Reading Lists
There are books that I reread regularly, but at the moment I read new books in trying to identify the best books to reread while trying to push my learning boundaries. So far I got to organise my future reading in 6 lists, main readings for each time of the day:
- morning: classics (my definition of classics, must say)
- lunch break: how to's (programming or managerial mostly)
- evening: biographies
and 3 lists of books that look interesting but haven't got enough information for them:
For people who just wanted to know how to choose what to read by Tai Lopez' talked of principles.
Do you have a book or resource that would like to see what nuggets I can get out from for you ?
