RE: Chop, carry and never repeat
I personally interpreted the paragraph as meaning that behaviors & traits don't change after enlightenment.
This is the common meaning and the most available in my conscious, I just don't like stopping at common thinking :)
If you think that once enlightened, it could recognize that no matter how repetitive something is, every iteration is absolutely unique. Each tree cut down and each block split will never happen identically again and, that bucket of water drawn from the river is filled with water that may never pass and will never pass in that way through the river again. the act of chopping wood and carrying water doesn't change, but the wood and water does.
I actually think nothing changes @tarazkp (nothing is unique).
Appearances change, but I don't necessarily believe in appearances 👍
So you are identical to who you were as a child?
I am not my body, not my mind, not my thoughts, ideas, perceptions or anything I appear to be @tarazkp.
Appearences & perceptions change but reality does not.
