Are you communing with the universe?

The universe is in constant dialogue with us.

It whispers, it sings, it nudges. So often we go without paying it any mind until something breaks down and shakes us, until its crying and begging for our attention.

Why do we wait so long?

Like the athlete that doesn't stretch and warm up before a game and then pulls a muscle, the mom who lashes out at her kids because the 23rd "Mommmmm" has given her a splitting headache, the teen who finds herself giving into peer pressure,, or the husband who's found his wife has left because of late nights; these are all bigger examples but they don't vary much from when you run out of the house with an inkling you forgot something but brush it off.

The universe is always talking to us, giving us sign after sign, saying "hey look over here!" while we try to maneuver our way around thinking we know best.

We fractionalize ourselves forgetting we're part of a greater whole.

What if we released the grip on the way we thought things should go for a bit, what if we let go of our expectations and surrendered just for a sec to the thought that we could receive our insights from all of life?

What if we paid attention?

Can you let that be your intention, can you let yourself be open?

The universe wishes to commune with you, isn't it time you let it?

Take a moment to pause, open up your heart, let your mind follow, allow things to arise.

You're part of something much greater than yourself, you are captain of your reality but even those on the sea know not to fight the waves.
