"Our clothes do change our mood". How true! I have 2 sets of clothes: 1 for work and one for comfort. I feel that this is the same for most people, especially in the professional world. When I go to work, it is expected to look professional. I still have my heels but more often than not, I find myself selecting the lower heels lately. Guess I am getting old. As soon as I get hone, into the comfy clothes!
I wish I could wear heels... just for the added height, and I think it would make my calves look better ;)
I don't need a suit for work but I do wear collared shirts and sometimes ties even though I am often working in factory environments (with management teams) as it helps provide some separation which is often necessary for a consultant. My relationships with my clients however is very close.
