Data and its potential

Data alone cannot change hearts,
but humans can build a narrative around data, tell a story,
and these stories are going to change the world.

I am a storyteller, or perhaps a magician.

I love stories.
Stories, narratives, lives and deaths, magic and dungeons, dragons and potions can change people, change people’s thoughts, perspectives, hearts, behaviors, and their lives.

Data itself stands no value,
so is any algorithm.
Algorithms exist,
just as swords only exist,
just as a pen and paper cannot write a novel without human's touch.
It is the human that uses data, writes algorithms, develops technologies,
that has the potential to change people, save lives and make the world a better place.
