_Khalil Gibran there nearly took an angle that seems antithetical but certainly true. The thing is in my opinion children aren't even 100% ours to raise alone and sometimes there's this other aspects that we don't cover but by doing the basic things we definitely give them that opportunity to really complete their metamorphosis. How I see it is that I have to support her to the point that she is able to support herself, and while I don't want to give her my thoughts, I want her to understand that she can think for herself and doesn't need to repeat the thoughts of others. I find that those kids who sit passively consuming tend to have a lot of repetition of thought without much personal addition.
