Lies. Lies. Projecting.
...or angsty like a moody teen sitting around with other moody teens listening to Nirvana. Yeah, I am old.
It’s called a fighting the midlife crisis and wanting to deny the fact that one was a grunge kid themselves, and not secretly, still enjoys grunge and even some nu metal. Don’t worry about, Taraz. We still like you.
Sorry to hear you didn’t put The Cure higher, but that was actually some years before grunge and makes sense. We still like and we will continue to do so even when you confess your “appreciation” for Kiedis' and Grohl's [ongoing] skills. 🤘
I picked up Pearl Jam to my list sometime in the mid-2000s. I had other things to concern myself with than emotional circles of angsty teens and instead spent my time with emotional circles of pretty girls ;D
The Cure was before my time and before the time of most that listened to it. I never connected with the music at all and still don't put to much emphasis on music as my emotional representation.
That just made me so darn emotional.
Songs to sing in the shower? :D
