When it comes to changing your life, you may be wondering how to convince yourself that you can change other thoughts. If you are like many people, you are convinced that you cannot change another person's mind because you have your own opinions and beliefs about it. But when you realize how difficult it is to change someone else's mind, you begin to see that you can easily convince yourself that you can change another person's mind.


Everyone has a set of beliefs that they do not agree with and they all have different ways of thinking and talking. They do not change because of the thoughts or ideas you think or hear; they remain in your mind because of a deep-seated fact about your personality and the way you think.

This means that you can easily convince yourself that you can change another person's thoughts. Whenever you are having a thought that you do not agree with, you can simply say to yourself that this thought comes from your inner critic. Your inner critic says that this thought is not true. And because you hold on to this concept, you will also have to hold on to the idea that you cannot change another person's thoughts.

You might say that you believe what you are saying and believe that what you are saying is true because you have learned to trust your inner critic but if you really take a look at the real facts of life, you will realize that you don't have to trust the inner critic because the thoughts and ideas that come into your mind are just that: thoughts and ideas. And your inner critic can prove very easy to convince that you cannot change another person's thought because the thought is independent of one's life experience and environment.

Even though this sounds strange, you can easily tell when you say "I think that X" is that you are holding on to something that is not true. When you say "I think this" you are holding on to your ideas that are rooted in reality. So when you say, "I cannot change another person's thoughts," you are saying that you don't need to. What is true is that you cannot change another person's thoughts and ideas because the idea that you hold in your mind is that you cannot change another person's ideas.

By simply saying "I cannot change another person's thoughts," you are using your outer self as a means to convince yourself that you cannot change another person's thoughts. When you think something is false, then you can easily say to yourself that you cannot change another person's thoughts because you think that the thought is false. This is why you can easily convince yourself that you cannot change another person's thoughts when in reality, the thought is independent of you. So don't be afraid to change yourself and show other people how easy it is to change another person's thoughts because you can.
