Who doesn't want maximum return when circle jerking? I make sure all my circle jerks are emotional whether they are real or figurative. It just makes things much more satisfying.
That being out of the way, I get your point and yeah, it's annoying, we dont need this. Maybe I need to take a break from Steem by filtering the tag Steem out of my feed.
Perhaps there could be a separate tage created for it, maybe a frontend experience. I propose:
