RE: Thought 005: Procrastinating posts.
No, I usually work on them until they're done. I've been doing this so much that sometimes I just spit out 4 perfectly decent paragraphs in 3 minutes or less. I do have some longer posts which I take 30m+ about news from my country, on a different account. This is probably my best post ever.
Unemployment does things to us.
I was just going to say, " maan, am I really that weak". But like you say, it's unemployment. I'm self employed and I also just moved out, so I have a lot of housework to do. And on top of that, I have just fallen sick. So I do understand why I don't have much time, but even on my downtime I procrastinate.
To put it simply, I'm not a blogger like you, or a writer. So I'm happy for you that you can do that, that is a good thing.
Oh, and that post you linked, I would like to advice you to write the same post in English or other languages, just to throw a bigger net and get more readers. I post sometimes twice if I post in another language.
Yeah, you have no reason to beat yourself up for not posting. I mean, you are posting! You're doing well. You don't need long posts to get engagement.
Those news are very brazilian focused, also my channel is about gaming and steemit, so it makes sense to not post most of the @posthero stuff on @felipejoys. I could make an account for general posts in english, but that's a lot more work... I already post from 4 to 10 times a day, so.... I'm okay! lol
I know I shouldn't worry about it, but I just want to achieve my Steemit goals, which is a post I'm procrastinating about.
Yeah, you're right, to post on different accounts is kind of a hassle. I have 2 other accounts, but I kind of only post on this one. But I shouldn't compare to you, I mean, 4 tot 10 post a day compared with maybe 1 a week, off course it would be hard for me to post on the other 2 accounts. But that is good that your account has a theme and that you're sticking to it.
