I love the many meanings I see in this! Skilfully written! This could be early man, lamenting the sunset, a beautiful metaphor for autumn leaves scattered across the ground, the foreshadowing of a dark future where the sun burns no more, or the last survivor of a firey meteor/nuclear strike walking alone, the sun long obscured by the polluted atmosphere. Or so much more! There is such depth in so few words!
