So this happened the other day...
What do you wanna for women's day? Spontaneously cut your hair? Why not! So I went to the hairdresser and told him to chop it all of and donate it to the national breast cancer campaign in Belgium (my home country ), who provides free wigs for breast cancer patients. Apart from that I wanted to experience the legendary chop, and how you are perceived from others. Since as a women I felt forced to have long hair in order to appeal to the male gaze (although - lets be honest having few thin hair doesn't look very aesthetic to me ) I wanted to brake this barrier and find a new style. Until now I just have had positiv feedback (even from male friends) and benefits: from quick blow drying and a bathroom free of loose hairs. Even some garments look better with the pixie cut. In conclusion short hair is super practical and equally feminin as long hair does. I encourage everyone to do it - just check with your hairdresser he will counsel you and believe me he's going to have fun cutting it ;) #thinkpink #hairisjusthair #shorthair
