Why 25 is my new favourit number

in #thinking5 years ago

So looking at aclock, of all things, got me thinking about numbers. seeing as a clck face is divided into 4 that again is divided into 3 making it 12. and it got me thinking about 3 and 4 and patterns.

Now ive learned the concept of vortex based math and reducing numbers to 1-9. as in say; 24 houers in a day is reduced to 6(2+4).
So using that if you start doubbelingfrom 1 to 2 to 4 and so on. and reducing the results over 9 then you end up with this repeating numbers: 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5.

And i was curious if similar patters exited in other ways like using 3 times 3, times 3 and so on and when i tested 5 I was surprised to find that that resulted in a repeating numbers of 5, 7, 8, 4, 2, 1. The exact oposite of 2

So to clarify: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 ect becomes 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5, 1, 2.

and 5,25,125, 625, 3125, 15625 ect becomes 5, 7, 8, 4, 2, 1

If you reduce them by adding the digits together untill you get a number from 1-9. (1+5+6+2+5=19. 1+9=10. 1+0=1)

And I've also learned that in nature cells divide by doubbeling and nature moves in spirals in 2 directions. so then, it semes to me that 2 and 5 is a number that can represent the 2 sprials, and they become 7. And 7 is known to be a "magical" number. Being why 7 7 7 is the lucky winning nmumber in slot machins.

Is it an accident that 7 equal circles perfectly fit together forming a hexagonal shape?

Take it for what you want, but i found it interesting. So I wanted to write it down and share it.
