her body never felt good enough for those around her.
which means she never loved her own.
the day came when she was tired of comparing her thick thighs to the small ones.
the models seemed to have it all, the confidence she craved.
one day, she stopped eating.
one day turned into two years.
two years turned into down fifty pounds.
fifty pounds turned into anemic.
health problems occurred because she compared.
she began to appreciate her thick thighs.
then they began to appreciate her thick thighs.
she struggled to be as the whole when she was marvelous on her own.
the day she accepted herself was the day people questioned society's standard.
her beauty is self grown and self worthy.
it took years to find this truth.
