The THETA technology sounds great. Ethereum is going to have to do some major upgrades to keep up with EOS. Did you guys hear about the Ethereum fork that was supposed to happen Jan 18 to speed it up? Did that ever happen? Did it not work? Thanks for the info!

It looks like that ETH fork might have freed up 50% of their Blockchain LOL blocktivity.info always gives interestiung statistics and ETH went from 100% clogged everyday ever since crypto kitties and now they have about 50% of their chain freed up... Compared to the 99.87% available blockchain capacity of Steem, doing 50% more txs/day than ETH... Just funny stats honestly LOL. It's gonna be crazy when Smart Media Tokens launch this year and all of a sudden there's thousands of tokens on the Steem Blockchain :O
Ok thanks for the update on ETH... the results were nothing to write home about! In an interview the other day (link below) Ned Scott said that he is projecting in 5 years SMTs will allow for 100,000 entrepreneurs with businesses on the Steem blockchain and Steemit will be dwarfed by what proceeds it and this is great news for all holders of Steem because network growth is proportional to value.
