THE SHOPPING GAME : (10/07/2020) : Supplies for 3 weeks, Here We Go!
Hey guys! So, yeah this is one of those days were you don't need to go shopping, you must! Why?, Well, because you ran out of food, as simple as that!
So, I made my mind and I went, you'll wonder, well, how hard is going for groceries? Well... when you have a family of 5 and everyone eats like there's no tomorrow. well you'll imagine. Also, I like to support local commerce and that means having to go to different places, however, today I only went to 3.
So, the first place I went was Costco. I know a lot of you may know this place (not local) but my parents love stuff from Costco (specially some wine brands), I bought a lot of stuff in Costco, specially big quantity of food, I mean that´s why Costco exists right?
After Costco and some traffic I arrived to a Supermarket called "Chedraui" (I know its a French brand, but the local market I often go, is closed due to Coronavirus) and bought other groceries that you can´t find in Costco.
And finally I got to the grocerystore (local) and I bought lots of fruits. (That's why I love Mexico).
Doing a recount this is what I bought at each establishment:
Total Mexican pesos: $4,904 (Mxn)
Total U.S. Dollars (Exchange Rate 1 Dollar-22.41 Mexican Pesos) : $218.80 (USD)
218.80 USD approx. 1,032 STEEM (think so...)
Since we are in times of pandemic my parents ask me to disinfect everything, then all this takes me about 3 hours, now do you guys understand why I have to mentalize XD.
As you can see the tickets have today's date, except for the local grocerystore, since they do not usually give receipts.
Hola amigos! Si, así es, hoy es uno de esos días que no necesitas ir de compras, debes de! Porque, Bien, simplemente porque ya no tienes nada de comida (literal nada), así de simple.
Así, que me mentalice y fui, uno se preguntará, bueno ¿Qué tan difícil es ir a comprar comida? Bueno... cuando tienes una familia de 5 y todos comen como si no hubiera mañana.. bueno ya se imaginarán. Además, Me gusta apoyar el comercio local y eso implica tener que ir a lugares diferentes, sin embargo hoy solo fui a 3.
Así que el primer lugar al que fui fue Costco. Sé que muchos de ustedes pueden conocer este lugar (no es local) pero mis padres aman las cosas de Costco (especialmente algunas marcas de vino), compré un montón de cosas en Costco, especialmente gran cantidad de comida, quiero decir para eso es no?
Después de Costco y un poco de tráfico llegué a un supermercado llamado "Chedraui" (Sé que es una marca francesa, pero el mercado local que a menudo voy, está cerrado debido a Coronavirus) y compró otros comestibles que no se pueden encontrar en Costco.
Y finalmente llegue a la recaudería (esta si es local) y compré una gran variedad y cantidad de fruta. (Por eso amo México).
Haciendo un recuento esto fue lo que compré en cada establecimiento:

Como estamos en tiempos de pandemia mis padres me piden que desinfecte todo, entonces todo esto me tomo como 3 horas, ahora entienden porque debo mentalizarme XD.
Como pueden ver los tickets tienen fecha de hoy, excepto de la recaudería, ya que no acostumbran dar recibos.
Those shopping for one week my friend. I think it give one week needs only for five members.
In my family we have 8 members along with three kids,so they always needs snacks every hour,i also facing lot of issues due to pandemic.
For handling those,how much struggles we have i understand.
