The PINK RABBIT

I love the color Pink. It reminds me of the time I was a little girl and used to tag along behind my mother. She used to buy me cute dresses and I loved it. One dress was a gorgeous silk skirt and small rabbit motifs on it. It was gifted to me by my dad. It was dark pink and it shone so much. I used to wear it to festivals or weddings. It was very dear to me and even when I outgrew it, I had kept it safely.

After a lot of years passed by, my mother told me that my cousin's daughter had asked for it and she gave it to her since I was no longer using it. The skirt had not faded or withered because my mother had kept it in a cover in her wardrobe. It took a few moments for me to accept it though because it was dear to me, after all. I too have got hand me downs sometimes, so I just forgot the matter.
