The Pink Rabbit - The Best Gift Ever

She fondly calls it "savior" because of the many times it saved her mind from all the chaos in the world. Besides loving the color pink, she loves how it can tune out awful things in her surroundings. What makes it all the more special is that it was given to her by her mother who unfortunately passed away a few years ago. Now, she is living with her step-mom, biological dad and an older half-brother who is always distant.

On the next stop, she exit the bus and walked three blocks more to reach her house. She could already hear the argument and screaming inside, definitely her dad and step-mom fighting again. She placed the pink earphones in her ears and played a rock music. Before she turns the main door handle, this is all she could say: "Thanks mom for the best gift ever."
