Cheers! Minds is a decentralized blockchain developed by Bill Ottman. It does have a rewards system but the token conversion to fiat appears to be somewhat convoluted.
My idiosyncratic take on Minds and Steem? Minds and Steem are psyops by the Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump camps. That's why these actors 'own' the trending pages on either site. These two sites came into existence during the Sanders Trump run for the Whitehouse. I'm not saying it's a bad thing per se--why not have a platform to promote one's ideologies? They look to be having a lot of fun, too! But in my book, they are still ruling archons who don't give a fcuk about humanity although Sanders seems to concede that people actually need money to survive today and well...Trump? Hell, the goyim don't need KA$H and if they need it they can bloody well pay the vig! (that's right-wing politics in a nutshell)...
