Nature makes us humble -- so true! I"m glad you got to see those whales. I've canoed in the Gulf of Mexico and had porpoises out front. But I've never seen a whale. Enjoy every opportunity in nature!
You are absolutely right. These opportunities are unique and absolutely fulfilling.
I go out there as often as I can.
