Day 13 of 100 Days of Steem and Environmental Action: The Diary Game, July 01, 2020

The Diary Game

I know the diary game is not about reminiscing what has passed but it’s been very difficult for me the past few days to share updates of my daily life because of lots of work, city lockdown and no electricity. Below are some pictures of the days that have passed.

However I am back and will continue with the game from where I stopped. All’s well now.
Today 01/07/2020 has been a big day for me. Woke up early at 06:00AM with a kiss from my wife and then went straight to work.
I cleaned around my home, opened our shop and then washed the car.
Then I had my breakfast and then washed some clothes.

I had to do some maintenance at our small chicken farm. We always keep about 4 - 5 chickens. I had to change their drinkers and install a new feeder and this was done before I took a bath and left for the office at 01:00PM.

I had initially scheduled an important meeting at @ecodesigns, our textile recycling and fashion designing hub. The meeting started as soon as I arrived and lasted for 2 hours during which we set new textile recycling objectives
Our hub has two training directors and six trainees who are women and girls we are training for free.
One of our biggest resolution from the meeting was to recycle ♻️ 50 pounds of textile waste weekly.

Left from office at 05:00PM with a friend who came to visit to go and take some beer 🍺. We were about 5 of us and it was dope fun. I paid for 3 bottles of beer each for all of us and it costed me 10,000CFAF which is equivalent to about 18SBD.
I took three bottles of Booster Ginger before I headed back home at 10:30PM.

At home, I ate a cup of yoghurt before I slept.

11. Pledged to recycle at least 50 pounds of textile waste weekly.
