The dairy game 2nd Augest my baby dedication and blessing
Yesterday mark thanksgiving church service and the first day of my wife to attend church after given birth to a baby boy.My wife gave birth to my son on 7th May 2020.
As the customs and traditon of my society,a child is co nsidered as humanbeing after living for a week.thus when a is given to him or her.
Also a child will continue to remain at home for 3 months or 12 weeks before he or she can be taken go out or public place.
Yesterday was one of the happiest day in my life.infact i enjoy the with a good hearth.this was because it was the day my first child(son) attended church.
This occassion husband and wife have to wear new and expensive dress. Also the cloth must have white colour to tell people that you are content with what God has given to you.Over here we normally cerebrate for women because they suffered much in the bringing the child on to earth. Because of this women do consider this as a special day as we take the child to church for a pastor to bless him or her.This occassion is somehow costive for men because men bear all the cost involve of the festive.

Yesterday's occassion was a congregational baby dedication and blessing. As you can see from the picture above.
The church gave us gift and baby dedication certificate.

I thank Mampong Seventh Day Adventist Church Ghana for making the day memorable to me.
Also,they did well to observed COVID 19 preventive protocols.

@menak, well done for dedicating your baby the Lord God. I learnt this is one of the signs of asking God to keep & protect the baby. Please was the naming ceremony done in the church too? Because some parents name their babies in the church so that the congregation will spread the name.
