THE DIARY GAME : (08/02/2020) : My Uncle's Suprise Birthday Party Celebration at our Church

Hello Everyone and God Bless!!!

Today was one of the special days for family and to our church as one of my uncle celebrated his Birthday.

Every time one of our church member in the church celebrates their birthday we usually do a surprise party.

At this day, my uncle really didn't know that we conduct and planned a birthday celebration unto him, with the help of some members of the church, we secretly prepared all the foods and some simple decoration at the party.

His daughter also called me who's living now in Australia that I should buy a cake for her father as her surprise gift knowing that she's a far from them.

At this moment, my uncle blows his Birthday cake while holding his cute little granddaughter Baby Reign. Baby Reign is smiling while watching at her "Lolo" grandpa. I found her really cute and pretty while capturing a photo.

At this moment of time, my uncle just gives his message while his son is holding the "DIY" tarpaulin. He said that he really appreciate the effort we did for him and he really didn't expect that we did it for him.

I saw that he is really happy and can see that some kinda teary-eyed in his eyes. He continued thanking us for everything that we did for him.

Now, it's eating time with some food we prepared at this event. We prepared only simple foods for us to share with.

The foods we cooked are:

• Rice
• Fried Chicken
• Menudo (A Filipino Food)
• Pancit (A Filipino)
• 59 Boiled Eggs
• Shakoy, Bochi, Suman ( A Filipino Delicacy)
• with drinks

One of the tradition usually still do here in my place is that every time we celebrate our birthday, we also cooked boiled eggs based on our age and now since my uncle is 59 years old already, we also boiled 59 eggs.

It was just a simple food we prepared but we enjoyed what we eat especially when we eat it using only our hands that is the usual way of eating here in my place and we are proud of it.

We will always continue this activity every time we celebrate birthdays, just a surprise for celebrate.
