4連休は、曇り空が続いていました。
During the four consecutive holidays, the cloudy sky continued in Tokyo.
連休3日目の9月21日は、つかの間の晴れ間があるとのことでした。せっかくの晴天なので、電車に乗って散策に出かけました。JR山手線に乗るのは久しぶりのことです。
According to the weather forecast, there will be a brief sunny day on September 21, the third day of the consecutive holidays. In order to enjoy the feeling of a holiday, I took a train and went for a walk. It's been a while since I took the JR Yamanote Line.
行き先は、天王洲アイル。晴天の日は、水辺に行きたくなります。
The destination is Tennozu Isle. It seemed like a good place to spend a sunny holiday.

ここは2本の運河に面したエリアで、1980年代に、埋立地が再開発されました。1990年代からは、ウオーターフロントとして人気になり、ドラマのロケ地などにもなりました。近年では、地元の企業「寺田倉庫」などが中心となり、アートの街としても注目されています。
This is a landfill facing two canals. In the 1980s, this area was redeveloped. Since the 1990s, it has become popular as a waterfront in Tokyo, and drama shooting has also begun.
In recent years, it has been attracting attention as a city of art, centered on the local company TERRADA.
2019年は「TENNOZ ART FESTIVAL 2019」としてアートが展示されていたので、散策がてら、何度か訪れていました。
このときの展示はまだ残っていて、街をよりおしゃれな雰囲気にしていました。
In 2019, the art was exhibited as "TENNOZ ART FESTIVAL 2019", so I visited it several times after taking a walk.
At that time, various related events were held, including an exhibition of public art, and many people visited this area and enjoyed the event.
The exhibition at that time still remained, giving the city a cooler atmosphere.

“The Shamisen” Shinagawa 2019

浮世絵を題材にして、三味線を奏でている女性を描いた壁画。ホテルの立体駐車場の壁いっぱいに描かれています。
A mural depicting a woman playing the shamisen (a Japanese stringed instrument played with a Japanese-style pick) based on ukiyo-e. It is drawn on the wall of the hotel's multi-storey car park.

DIEGO
東京/ 天王洲のイメージをグラフィティの文字で表現した壁画。一見ストリートアートに見えるのですが、文字には意味合いがあるのですね。
A mural that expresses the image of Tokyo / Tennoz in graffiti characters. It is painted on the long wall of the factory.This work looks like street art, but the characters drawn have many implications.

近年、この近くには高層マンションも建築されています。運河沿いでは、近隣から来たと思われる人たちが、思い思いの時間を過ごしていました。
In recent years, high-rise condominiums have been built near here, so many people live in the neighborhood. Along the canal, people were spending their time as they wished.
この平和な雰囲気。やはり訪れてみて正解でした。すっかりリフレッシュして帰路に就くことができました。
I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and was completely refreshed and was able to return home.
