Fishing? Why sure! I have fished as a young boy on the coast of South Jersey growing up and also used to go crabbing (I hate going crabbing and did as a boy, those damn bugs would eat us up). My Uncle, John Fisher, ran a fishmonger shop in South Jersey. Those smells still bring back great memories as a boy.

When I lived in Gainesboro, Tennessee I did a great deal of fishing. Never had a fishing license and when I caught a 5 pound small mouth bass (yes, not a typo, it was a small mouth bass. Not really 5 pounds, closer to 3 and 3/4 pounds, but I rounded up. Maybe it was the grandson of a catfish! That was one big fishy. Stalked that old boy for weeks and finally caught him with some cheese and ham on my fishing rig.), folks wanted to put me in the paper. Nah, did not want to get in trouble for fishing without a license.

Have not gone fishing in many years. I just get my fish from the supermarket now (very expensive). Appreciate you sharing your adventures though. Always look forward to your posts. They are great.
