Been a Minute For One of These But...What Have I Been Trading? My Cryptoventures This Week
That should tell you enough...
The reason I've been all over litecoin is pretty simple. It's the speed of transactions. I recently bought some more Bitcoin from Coinbase and I still haven't gotten credited with it yet. It was a seven day wait. SEVEN DAYS! That is just frign ridiculous. About the only thing Bitcoin is good for anymore is investment value. A friend of mine made a good correlation about BTC and I have been explaining it to several off my 'students' recently with this analogy:
Think of Bitcoin as the Model-A of vehicles. It looks fabulous. It is worth a great deal of money and still does what it was designed to do. Bitcoin is the initial entrepreneur in a quickly growing and competitive market. So, it might not go very fast, but it does work and looks pretty damn good in my garage.
But Why Litecoin?
LTC has been around quite awhile and thankfully, is still extremely undervalued. It was created with a specific purpose, to be 'light years' faster than Bitcoin. And it is. Hands down. I can buy LTC instantly and spend or trade it immediately. I have even used several other coins to try and get the same response time, but it just isn't there. Ethereum, ZEC (which I absolutely love for other reasons), BCH (which I'm not a huge fan of), and even Golem and Peercoin are infinitely slower. The only one that even comes close is DASH. In today's world of instant gratification and timely events, you know where my money will be.
Good one. I love litecoin. Have since I first started trading. On Cryptopia I trade exclusively with this coin. Its so constant and stable also. It will sit at a value then go up, plateau and sit again. Not as volatile as many others.

I had no idea that LTC was the fastest, but in my experience it has out-stripped all my ETH and BTC transactions :D
I will be hitting it much harder!
Once people start realizing it...it'll be getting bought, sold, traded and used much more driving the value up significantly. Especially now with people getting frustrated with confirmation times of BTC (like myself lol).
I've definitely head some great things about the future of Litecoin and how it will one day take over for Bitcoin. Not only it Bitcoin slow due to the block size and depth ( the reason for the recent fork) but also the fees for sending transactions is sky high. I recently invested in an ico and it costed me 5$ in Bitcoin to send the freakin transaction. Absolutely unacceptable for a form of payment for a product or rlservice in the real world.

Litecoin is the only major without any movement in two months but that's about to change. Litecoin is undervalued and I believe it is in for a huge jump any month now. Rumors are we're talking triple digits before Christmas so that's minimum $100 but could be double that.
I fully believe that. In my personal opinion, it should be up there around DASH and GNO.

STOPI think Litecoin is long overdue for a nice breakout much like moneros recently
Monero tends to be a chore in terms of transfer, but has a place. Litecoin has been just trucking along and yes agree, overdue.
