RE: 🤫What If🤯 (A Thoughtful Daily One)🤔
Love this post, and I agree, kids are awesome, and their imaginations are neverending.
I'm lucky in one respect, because a part of me has never grown up, and so I'm still well in touch with my inner two-year-old, even if she occasionally annoys the hell out of me. But that childlike sense of wonder has never left me, and happily, I finally found someone who shares this trait with me . . . I've frequently joked that Marek's kids are actually older than he is.
Which isn't to say that we can't "adult" when we need to, but it does speak to why I've always gotten along with most kids really well, because I speak with them as peers, and they feel that respect.
But you're absolutely right, when we allow ourselves to get stressed, imagination gets strangled, and creativity seems to become an uphill battle. Best to chill, take a long soaky bath, and just allow the world to unfold without us for a while.
Much love to you and your lovely ladies! And, naturally, to their ponies. ;-)
I also love the graphic, by the way. I have a good friend in Florida who does wire sculptures that this beings to mind quite strongly.
They really have a way of keeping us grounded, don't they! My imagination has been gasping for air as of late and my mind is stifled with the fog of it all. I'll be sure to tell them you wish their ponies well, thanks for stopping in sweets!
