Nice work man!! Isn't it ironice that those who are voted in to "take care" of the system woudl rather keep themselves up top buy upvoting dead witnesses, rather than putting in the hard yards to stay where they are?
I would love to see an automatic witness vote return system if a witness goes cold for a certain period of time. I wrote a piece on it the other day here. We need pro-active and reliable witnesses, and there are a lot of them. Those that fall off the wagon should be forced to make way for the rest. It will make the platform more healthy that way.

I too have lobbied for a dead vote return after say 90 days of dead vote. You have to allow for mistakes for maybe a month like if someone missed paying their hosting bill but intends to fix it, etc. But if dead for say 90 days or so... Kill em. Thats this witnesses opinion.
Fully agree. Perhaps 30 days may not be enough time to recover from some failures, but in most cases it should. There should be something in place to drop those witnesses who go red for an extended period. This could be a different threshold for different criteria, and perhaps a third-party service with personalized parameters would do the trick to some degree for those wanting to manage their witness votes more stringently than others. Add to that a 60 day built-in platform threshold to cull dead witnesses, and that will go a long way to keeping the top 100 list full of active witnesses only at the very least.
I saw that one, three of mine are on the list but 2 of them are PAL related and am using PAL, idk whether I should remove my vote as am thankful for PAL 🤷
How long have they been red/dead/inactive? Keep in mind they serve no good purpose taking up dead slots and always consider why they might be remaining that way or for how long.
