Please, no Hotel Eleganté! I just stayed there for a night last summer for a wedding that was held there...and it was awful. The staff sucked, the rooms were crap, it’s not in a good part of town, and the clientele looked like it was straight off the Walmart ghetto bus.
You can get a good deal, but you’re getting what you pay for...maybe less. There are much better locations. They may cost a little more, but it’ll probably be worth it.
Just my two cents on that.
Unfortunately, at such a late start (2nd week of January) most places could not take us.
This was our last hope... and on paper checks all the boxes, where other (better) venues did not.
I'm gonna hope/pray/dance to whoever will watch that it ends up awesome... cause we'll all be there.
And what Engine said was true, you can come play on site, and stay somewhere close.
NEXT YEAR... I'm starting planning right after this one. We'll have better options. 😍
By no means mandatory you stay there and @carrieallen lives out there so if you can convince her of a better spot - by all means :)
