I think it's important to remember people have always thought the end of the world was near. It's never happened! I like to be optimistic and assume humanity has thousands of years to go yet.
That's a good point. I think it's up to us really. If we really do get our shit together I am sure we will be fine. We do seem to be at a critical point in our history but the worst brings out the best in people sometimes, especially when they can't avoid how connected they are. Thanks for the comment ;-)
